Long Day Care
Long Day Care consists of services aimed predominantly for children aged 0-5. Services are provided in a community or private centre, facilitated by a mix of qualified and unqualified staff.
Educational, care and recreational programs are provided, and are based on the developmental needs, interests and experiences of the children. All services are required to adhere to the national Quality Assurance standards (NCAC), if they qualify for Child Care Benefit.
If you are a new service or have not accessed the Gowrie Training Centre before, an Introduction pack is available to your service. Contained in this pack is a current Training Calendar, registration forms for membership to the Resource centre, training discount cards and sample publications. If you would like one of these packs, please contact the centre on 1800 129 606.
