Gowrie SA, also known as the Lady Gowrie Child Centre Inc (Adelaide) was established in 1940 as a "model child centre". We remain committed to innovation in children's services.
Our Vision is for early childhood to reach its potential. We provide child care and kindergarten programs with an emphasis on learning through play and supportive relationships. Through our training, resource and advisory programs we use our practical experience to assist children's services to achieve continuous improvement. We demonstrate and encourage reflective and research-based practice, and assist staff to gain skills and qualifications. In all aspects of work we seek to establish professional partnerships with organisations in the broader community.
